“It has been a great experience working with the Greenford team on the Nazrin Shah Centre. The Lake extension works have provided the Nazrin Shah Centre, designed by Niall McLaughlin Architects, with an outstanding setting while also complementing the surrounding areas of the historic Worcester College’s award-winning grounds.
The Nazrin Shah is an exciting and complex design, which we hope will become an award-winning building. The exceptional service from Greenford in all areas from design to project management and installation made the on-time delivery of this project possible, and to the highest standard.”

"The National Trust have been very impressed with Greenford, from the tender stage through to completion the process has been professional and collaborative, working towards the success of the project.
Taking a proactive approach with great problem solving skills, the site has several key considerations including a public right of way and an environmentally and historically sensitive location, Greenford managed the site without a single complaint or issue. Greenford clearly understood the National Trust conservation philosophy when completing the building work, the quality of work is very high with no details overlooked."

"We engaged with Greenford Ltd to carry out a watercourse diversion at our Mill prior to its planned restoration and renovation. It was a relatively small operation in comparison with much of their work, but we do not feel that it was in any way treated with less attention as a result. The site is considered highly sensitive, with substantial demands placed on the contractors by the Environment Agency.
The work was executed as well as humanly possible, as far as we can see. The site was kept immaculately, the landscaping, water flow rate, appearance and restoration of the surrounding area carried out with thought, sympathy to the environment, precision and care. All Greenford's staff have been a pleasure to work with. Special mention to the site foreman, Dave, for exceptional care and skill on this job, but all of Greenford's workforce have been excellent. Senior management - in our case principally Simon Rogers - have been helpful and readily accessible at all time for queries and advice. We were kept informed of progress at every stage, with timely consultation for any matters needing our attention. We are delighted with the results, and would unhesitatingly highly recommend the company for any work of this nature - sadly they cannot be persuaded to undertake work in the house renovation and restorations domain!"

"I would like to take the time to say that the RAF Central Fund was very happy with the works carried out. Greenford acted in a very professional manner and was mindful that our site is sensitive due to having serving military personnel. The works were very well organised, tidy and carried out in a timely manner allowing us to still have full use of the facility. Greenford has very friendly, professional staff that were very accommodating to us and were willing to assist with some extra tasks. The RAF Central Fund would be happy to recommend Greenford to anybody and look forward to working with them again on future projects."

The project was started and finished on time, to budget, with no hassle and to an excellent quality. Without exception, all of Greenford's staff were pleasant and professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending Greenford Ltd."

"As very adjacent neighbours to the Sonning Hydropower Scheme we were a little apprehensive about the interference and possible damage to our boundaries.
As it turned out we were very satisfied with the outcome and any small effects were rectified very quickly and easily, we have absolutely no complaints with the project and are delighted that it turned out so well!"

“Your team have just spent 3 months resurfacing the canal towpath in Bath which involved some use of my land for diversions. I have to say that the team allocated were unfailingly approachable, friendly and informative. The paths in question are used intensely by many, many people and yet operations proceeded smoothly and compatibly. The finished effect is very pleasing and attention to detail has made a big difference. Impressive, thank you."

“Living by the canal towpath, we have had the opportunity to witness Greenford's activities throughout the entire towpath upgrade project, from the initial security arrangements to the final surface inspection. During this period, they have been very professional and aware of the needs of all the towpath stakeholders. The Greenford team have been very friendly and the standard of workmanship has surpassed our expectations. Where they have been challenges, the on-site team, including senior management, have responded extremely quickly, dealing with issues in a friendly and efficient manner. Greenford has delivered a very professional job and worked well alongside the local community in delivering it. They should be very proud of their achievement. It's wonderful to witness so many people, especially those who may have struggled to use the towpath in the past, enjoy such a well designed and professionally constructed facility."
“Greenford were competitive on price, but their approach, and experience of satisfying the demands of the Canal and River Trust in undertaking works adjoining an operational canal, were key to the appointment. The works were started and completed within the agreed contract programme and sum. Given that part of the Glasshouse site is a College for young people with learning and behavioural difficulties, as well as a number of craft businesses, communication of construction activities was key to such groups being kept safe and happy.
Peter Hawley, the Greenford manager for the project, kept up a weekly commentary of works undertaken, and to be undertaken, and gave early warnings of potential disruption, staff on site were helpful and vigilant. The works have been completed on time and within the contract sum and Canal River Trust appear to have been kept well informed and satisfied by the works. I would have no hesitation in asking Greenford to undertake similar projects and would commend the company, Peter and his team to others."

"Thank you, and very especially, all the kind considerate workers who have completed the work in Ledburn with minimum disruption and tidiness. Some days the weather conditions for working in were horrendous, but they kept working and the roads were always kept clear and clean, unbelievable and a credit to their experience and efficient work skills…
I cannot reiterate enough how excellent your workers, vehicle drivers, deliveries of equipment and supplies were executed with the least disruption. Their efficiency was also proven when traffic controls needed to take place, no hold ups for the traffic in any direction, it worked like clockwork”.

"We should like to commend Greenford on the works to remove and replace the riparian walls. The design and build of the new wall is excellent including the concealment of the pipework and the irrigation pump. The works were carried out with impressive professionalism and diligence with completion during the timeframe specified.
We were impressed by the courtesy, care and attention taken by you and your staff to work with us to ensure the continuity and smooth operation of our business despite the challenges inherent in carrying out such heavy works during our busy summer period"

"We have selected Greenford for the installation of a ‘Low Head’ hydro electric plant at two sites after a competitive tendering process. The works have significant amounts of working below ground and below the adjacent water levels, in mixed ground conditions, and in proximity to historic structures. Greenford were selected due to a ‘can do’ attitude, and a wide demonstrable experience in similar projects in proximity to water. Their depth of experience of their management and site teams is evident when there are challenges to overcome. In these projects we have been aware of Greenford’s collaborative attitude and have benefitted from their clear communication via one designated director, and the finished results have in both projects been excellent. We have no reservations in recommending Greenford and regularly do so."

"Greenford Ltd undertook both the demolition and rebuilding of the rubble stone walls at the prestigious £38m Kendrew Quadrangle Project at the St John’s College Campus in central Oxford. Greenford also undertook the rubble stone cavity walls where the stones had to be individually clipped and dressed accordingly. Their attention to detail and expertise in restoration was well received and much appreciated.”

Close management of the stakeholders was delivered by a dedicated Communications Officer who was outstanding in effectively managing stakeholders. Greenford Ltd’s attention to detail and quality management was exceptional and has resulted in a high quality end product. Their work ethic throughout the project has been outstanding with all staff taking personal pride in their work and delivering a very professional service. "Greenford constructed a concrete lined dry 5x10m x 4.5m (deep) pit in our facility. The works were carried out on time and on budget. I visited site regularly and was always very pleased with the commitment of the workforce. A great comfort to me was having Tom McDermott (Greenford Director) always on hand to address my concerns. We came across some challenges during the excavations (in the form of previous building foundations). Tom was vital to coming up with a plan to rectify this without impacting the schedule and budget. Overall I was extremely pleased with the works and outcome. Thanks very much to the entire Greenford team."

"(My wife) and I have learned a lot about the building trade in the last few years and yet we still feel like absolute novices. One of the things we have learned however, is that there are a lot of rogue/average builders and tradesmen who promise a lot then deliver the minimum possible (and leave their mess behind). Greenford stands out as a company that is not only supremely capable in what they deliver but does so with integrity, honesty and hard work!"

"Greenford Ltd were selected to construct the second basin at Crick Marina in 2007. They did an excellent job and, in light of this, I engaged them on a 'design and build' basis for the new Cropredy Marina. Despite working in very adverse conditions, Greenford completed the new marina to a high standard and at an acceptable cost. I would be happy to use them again in any future projects"
